We're one of the nation’s six senior military colleges and a leadership development institution. We educate and develop young men and women to lead and succeed in both the military and public sector. While we consistently commission high-quality officers to serve in the total Army, there is no military obligation for our cadets. Many choose to pursue the National Service Leadership Track to serve in the government and private sector.
Enjoying a unique mix of a military lifestyle embedded within a traditional college experience, the University of North Georgia Cadets:
By far the least expensive Senior Military College. That being said, most Cadets who choose to pursue an Army commission have Army ROTC scholarships, Georgia Military Scholarships, leadership scholarships and/or are soldiers in the Georgia Army National Guard or Army Reserve. However, there are a variety of other financial aid opportunities and scholarships for all Cadets, including the fact that all Cadets receive in-state tuition rates.
With prior reservation, we can host group tours on our campus, or a representative from our Cadet Admissions office would be happy to visit your school to provide additional information on the opportunities we have to offer.
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy, Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 require higher education institutions to provide an annual security report and annual fire safety report that contain crime statistics and fire statistics for the three most recently completed calendar years, institutional policies or procedures for reporting crimes and current policies concerning the security of, and access to, campus facilities and residencies, as well as security considerations in the maintenance of campus facilities.
A print copy of the most recent report is available upon request, email clery@ung.edu.
